FAQ

Our unique offering is the group size: 6 to 7 children, each of whom receives individual attention and support. In addition, we offer a family discount and a volume discount, which can be combined with each other.

The money we earn mainly covers rent, insurance, salaries for teachers and back-office staff, materials, robot kits and tablets, furniture, electricity, heating, etc. KRoK has no investors and receives no support from the city.

For this reason, our prices cannot be low.

If your child attends multiple courses at KRoK, you will receive a 10% discount on the second and each additional course (volume discount).

If another child from your family joins us, you will also receive a 10% discount on their course (family discount). Multiple discounts of this type can be combined.

Every customer and their family members receive a 15% discount on all one-time workshops at KRoK.

An example. Veronika has a daughter and a son. The daughter chooses an art course, and Veronika signs the contract with KRoK. A few weeks later, her son wants to start the robotics course — Veronika receives a 10% family discount on this course. Later, her daughter says she would also like to try acting — and for this course, the mother receives a 10% volume discount. Suddenly, Veronika finds a “Neon Painting Party” for adults in our event calendar and attends together with her husband — the two of them pay 15% less than non-customers.

Yes, for all courses offered at KRoK.

However, this does not apply to one-off events.

Missing one or two classes is not critical for further participation. Our program is not academically rigorous.

A lesson cancelled by the customer does not release them from the obligation to pay. If the child misses two or more lessons due to illness, these can be refunded upon presentation of a written certificate from a doctor.

If a teacher is absent, KRoK will provide a substitute or reschedule the lesson. If this is not possible, the lesson fee will be refunded proportionally.

The club is not responsible for cases of force majeure such as traffic accidents, strikes, epidemics, severe weather, fires, natural disasters, etc.

The monthly fee is fixed and independent of public holidays and school holidays. The annual course fee is divided into 12 monthly installments. No classes are held on public holidays or school holidays in the Free State of Bavaria.

We have stipulated a relatively short notice period in the contract. Termination is possible without giving reasons up to the last day of a month for the end of the following month.

If your child is interested in a different course at KRoK, you can change courses without canceling the contract. This is only possible if there is a free place in the desired age-appropriate group. The monthly fee may be recalculated in this case.

Unless otherwise specified by the teacher, the child does not need to bring anything to class. Bringing generally dangerous items (toy weapons, knives, laser pointers, etc.) is prohibited.

For art classes, the answer is: yes! However, sometimes your child’s artwork needs time to dry, then it will be ready for collection at the next lesson.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to take projects, such as a robot built by your child, home from the technical courses. The same robot kits are used by every group, so taking the parts home is prohibited.
